OVER & ABOVE

Over & Above documents construction properly.

Specialist content for the developers, contractors and investors building London.

Construction is the whole business.

Over & Above is a construction content company. We do two things. We produce quarterly buyer update films for residential developers. We run programmed monthly aerial monitoring for contractors and construction directors. Both are retained programmes. Both run for the duration of the build.

Every part of the company is built around the operational reality of London construction. CAA Operational Authorisation. Restricted-airspace clearance. Risk assessments and method statements for every shoot. Commercial drone insurance, with a current Certificate of Insurance on request. And the production discipline of a creative company in its tenth year.

Over & Above is the construction-content division of Blood Orange Film. Same crew. Same kit. Same colourist. Same standards.

Where we came from.

Blood Orange Film is the parent company. Ten years of production for clients including NatWest, Bentley, Adidas and the BBC. The crew, the camera kit, the post-production pipeline and the colourist that produce a national TV ad are the same ones that produce a Ballymore quarterly update.

We built Over & Above as a specialist company for a simple reason. Construction clients work to requirements that brand and advertising work rarely touches. Commercial drone insurance. Risk assessments and method statements for every visit. Restricted-airspace permissions. A retained model measured in years. For us, a polished film is the starting point. The real value is in the work being operational as much as it is creative.

Over & Above stands on its own as a specialist company. The Blood Orange relationship is the craft and the track record behind it.

How we work.

  • Retained for the life of the build.

We work on programmes that run for the full duration of a build. The body of work compounds with every episode, and the archive grows more valuable as the project rises.

  • The producer is on site.

The person who briefs you is the person on the ground, the person in the edit, and the person on the phone if anything changes.

  • Operational rigour as standard.

Insurance, risk assessments, method statements and CAA clearance are the baseline. The creative work sits on top of solid ground.

  • Frame.io review.

You watch the cut in 4K and drop a comment on the exact frame that needs attention. We see where it lands and action it.

  • Broadcast standards, every time.

The output meets broadcast standards even when the audience is a single boardroom.
